My Yummy Lemon Bread Recipe.

This yummy Middle Eastern Dessert is one of my favorites.  I use this traditional recipe as a way to use the fruit from our bountiful lemon tree. Lemons are one of the most popular ingredients of Middle Eastern cooking and in the entire Mediterranean Region.  The lemon is a small evergreen tree a native of Asia. The tree’s oval yellow fruit is used for culinary and non-culinary purposes all over the world, primarily for its juice, although the pulp and zest are also used in cooking and baking.  This lemon bread recipe uses both the juice and the zest, the outer layer of the rind.  I feel this makes it quite a refreshing.

We had quite a bumper crop this year and this lemon bread is a way to use up that crop.  This recipe for lemon bread is quick and easy and goes great with coffee or tea for a nice afternoon break.  For your next tea, breakfast or brunch, try the below recipe for this yummy lemon bread.
